ENGLISH IN PRACTICE Grade 1-8

This book series, which is Nepal based graded course in English language, covers
the skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing focusing on both accuracy
and fluency. Throughout each book, a link between grammatical form and
communicative function is consistently maintained. Fluency is achieved through
information-gap tasks, pair work, group work, class activities and role plays.
The book teaches students to understand language that is at a slightly higher
level than they can produce, and this prepares them to make transition from the
classroom to the real world. English in Practice a comprehensive English language
course is easy to follow, with clearly identified teaching points, carefully
organised and sequenced units, comfortable pacing and stimulating, enjoyable
learning tasks that fit the need of Nepali students. Moreover, a study key is included
as a attachment with every book of English in Practice. This key not only
helps students to learn their lessons better but also subtly guides the teachers
with critical aspects of teaching and testing.
